Bob Walker founded the Sleep Number bed in 1987, then known as the “Select Comfort.” Although Walker may not currently run Sleep Number, the company has a new CEO, Shelly Ibach. Sleep Number beds are currently sold online and in nearly 600 brick and mortar stores in the U.S. Sleep Number was listed as a major key player in the Mattress Toppers Market research report of 2017.

The Classic Series– includes beds with dual adjustability, (both sides of the bed can be adjusted), Responsive Air Technology, (adjusts firmness on each side automatically), and Sleep IQ features (tracks and reveals your Sleep IQ score and data, such as heart rate, breathing rate, sleep/wake cycles, etc., to be used for better sleep).

This brand offers a 100-night trial to allow customers to decide whether they like the mattresses or not. They also provide a 15-year warranty and free UPS shipping. Premium delivery, setup, and removal are currently free, but make sure you double-check at the time of your order; sometimes it is a hefty fee.
Return shipping is not free, and you must call the Sleep Number Customer Service Number to get a Return Service Order (RSO) before returning any products. That number is 1-800-472-7185. In addition to this 800 number, there is this link which provides a chat feature and online support, and a form you can fill out to request a call back from them.
Aside from mattresses, Sleep Number sells bedding, including sheets and pillowcases, mattress pads and covers, blankets, comforters, weighted blankets, chenille throws, duvets and bed skirts.
They also provide a wide assortment of pillows, including various Sleep Number pillows, specialty pillows, travel pillows, knee pillows, L-shaped body pillows, and pillow protectors.
They also offer three different types of adjustable bases to go with your mattress. Some include technology like foot warming, the Zero gravity experience, and underbed lighting. There is also an integrated base which goes with your current mattress and decor to provide a firm, level surface.
You can also purchase furniture like headboards, upholstered beds, and accessories like base legs, headboard brackets, remote controls for smart beds, retainer bars, and more.
